Apple's new corporate headquarters — known as Campus 2 — isn't set to be completed until 2016, but it already looks amazing. YouTube user myithz recently flew a drone over the construction site for an aerial view of the company's progress, according to 9to5mac.com.

The official project description boasts that the "spaceship" campus in Cupertino will feature 176-acres of redeveloped, sustainable, state-of-the-art office, research and development facilities.
Designed by architectural firm Foster + Partners, the four-story, 2.8 million square feet space will accommodate more than 12,000 employees. Some Apple employees will continue to work in the existing Infinite Loop Campus, as well as in other sites in the area.

"The entire Campus, indoors and out, is intended to promote shared creativity and collaboration, and spur invention of the next several generations of Apple products," the project report states.
Steve Jobs presented plans for the building to the Cupertino City Council on June 7, 2011, according to a Bloomberg Business article.
“We have a shot,” he said, “at building the best office building in the world. I really do think that architecture students will come here to see it.”
