How to watch Donald Trump’s “counter-debate” tonight

Here’s a YouTube link to a live-stream of the event:

C-SPAN will show Donald Trump’s “counter-programming” event live at 9 pm on Thursday night as the other Republican presidential candidates debate on Fox News.

Trump is skipping the GOP debate before the Iowa caucuses amid a public feud with Fox News. Trump’s fundraiser — a “Special Event for Veterans” — will be held on the campus of Drake University in Iowa.

Trump suggested on Twitter that CNN will air his fundraiser, but a CNN spokesperson said in an email that the network will only carry the event if there’s “news value” in it.

Trump’s Iowa event is scheduled to begin with preprogramming at 8 pm, with the main event slated for 9 pm — just as the Republican debate will kick off on Fox News.

Trump spokesperson Corey Lewandoski has invited the press to cover the fundraiser, according to Breitbart.

“It’s open the media and obviously as all of Mr. Trump’s speeches are if the networks choose to come and cover that we obviously would welcome that opportunity,” Lewandowski said.

“If they want to live feed or live stream that, they’re welcome to do that as they do many of his speeches. ”

Republican presidential candidates Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee will also be attending Trump’s event after participating in the “undercard” debate held on Thursday, according to The Guardian.

Update: This post has been updated to reflect CSPAN's announcement.
