Welcome news for iPhone users whose devices have been suffering unexpected soft restarts since the debut of iOS 7. Apple is aware of the so called “Black/White Screen of Death” problem and plans to solve it in the near future. “We have a fix in an upcoming software update for a bug that can occasionally cause a home screen crash,” Apple spokesperson Trudy Muller told Re/Code. No word yet on when that update is coming, though the company did release the fourth beta of iOS 7.1 to registered developers earlier this week.
