Demand Media former CEO and co-founder Richard Rosenblatt confirmed that he has joined merchant bank Raine Group in an advisory role. Sources said it was a part-time gig, with the longtime entrepreneur consulting on deals such as WME’s recent acquisition of IMG. Rosenblatt, who brokered the $580 million sale of Myspace to News Corp in 2005, resigned from Demand last October.
