A complete history of Ebola, in one graphic

The team at Involution Studios has put together an incredible graphic explainer of Ebola. It explains how the disease works and why this particular outbreak is so bad. The whole thing is worth reading. I especially liked this first section that walks through the history of Ebola and how stunningly worse this outbreak is than any others. The timeline is below, and the rest of the explainer is available here.
