Microsoft said today that it would cut the price of its latest gaming console, the Xbox One, to $350 starting next week. The promotion will last until the first week in January. The console launched last year packaged with the Kinect camera for $500, but earlier this year Microsoft made the camera optional and cut the normal price to $400. To date, worldwide sales of the Xbox One have lagged behind Sony’s PlayStation 4, which also costs $400.
