The official last day to purchase an Obamacare plan for January was yesterday, December 15. But as this map from eHealth shows, lots of health insurers have voluntarily extended their application period into late December. There are 37 states where at least one health insurer is still selling Obamacare plans that start on Jan. 1, 2015. Of those, 12 states have insurers who will sell all the way up until the end of the year.
