Camilla Velasquez, Etsy’s director of payments and multichannel sales, has left the online crafts marketplace to reunite with a former colleague at employee benefits startup Justworks, where she will be head of product. Velasquez’s move comes just a little over a month after she oversaw the launch of Etsy’s own credit card reader for its sellers, in a bid to extend its payments platform to the physical world. Velasquez also oversaw product for Etsy’s initiative to help its merchants sell their goods to wholesale buyers. In an email, she said she enjoyed her three-plus years at Etsy, but was excited to work for a smaller company and welcomed the challenge of learning a new industry.
