SurveyMonkey, the straightforward and popular online survey company, is releasing its first mobile app today, for survey creators to create, send and monitor surveys from their iPhones and iPads. Meanwhile, the company is also previewing a developer kit that will allow appmakers to ask for users’ opinions, then push them to either rate the app or give feedback. Other companies like ForeSee and MixPanel also do stuff like this, but SurveyMonkey will make it part of its standard pricing. SurveyMonkey CEO Dave Goldberg noted, “We have 15 million free users and lots of paying users. We’ve charged $200 per year for unlimited surveys for 14 years, so: good value.”
