Zynga Names Ex-Best Buy Exec David Lee as New CFO

Another shift in the top Zynga brass.

Zynga

Zynga appointed a new chief financial officer on Thursday, rounding out a refresh of the executive ranks since CEO Don Mattrick took office nearly nine months ago.

The company named David Lee as its CFO, previously a senior vice president of finance at Best Buy and former executive at Del Monte foods. He replaces Mark Vranesh, who plans to leave the social gaming company in the near future.

Lee’s appointment marks yet another top-level replacement in Zynga’s C-suite. Last fall, COO David Ko, Chief People Officer Colleen McCreary and Chief Technology Officer Cadir Lee all left the company shortly after Mattrick took the CEO reins from founder Mark Pincus. Mattrick replaced Ko with new COO Clive Downey, while appointing Nick Tornow as CTO.

Lee’s first day at Zynga is Monday.
