Microsoft said today that, once it stops making Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners pay for access to media apps in June, those nongamers will be entitled to a partial refund of their Xbox Live Gold subscriptions. Subscribers who contact Xbox support to cancel after the changeover but before the end of August 2014 will receive prorated partial refunds, which will “require six to eight weeks for processing.”
