CCP Games, the Icelandic company behind EVE Online and the upcoming virtual reality game EVE: Valkyrie, has laid off 49 employees in another round of restructuring. In April, the company laid off most of its Atlanta studio — 56 people in total — and canceled a long-in-development-hell game, World of Darkness. The new layoffs appear to be continued fallout of that cancellation, as a company tweet specified they did not affect the development teams for CCP’s other games.
