This week brought us three, shiny new trailers featuring the likes of Melissa McCarthy, Jennifer Aniston, and Steve Carrell. All three are appearing in separate films, and perhaps by coincidence, there seems to be a running theme of the three actors not playing the characters we’re used to seeing.

McCarthy, better known for playing burpy jesters like she did in Bridesmaids and The Heat, is playing a mom in St. Vincent. But from the trailer, it also looks like she’s playing a responsible mom.
