Roku, which makes streaming video hardware and software, says it has sold 10 million of its Roku players in the U.S. since 2008, up from eight million at the beginning of the year. In April, Apple said it had sold 20 million of its Apple TV boxes. Roku, which also competes with Google’s Chromecast stick and Amazon’s Fire TV box, has started integrating its software into Internet-connected TVs as well.
