  1. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) won’t run for president in 2016, he told CBS News.
  2. Many election watchers considered Ryan, who chairs the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, a presidential contender, especially after his run for vice president on the Romney-Ryan ticket in 2012.
  3. Other likely Republican presidential contenders include former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL).
