Amazon Web Services is taking another step in the process of creating cloud-based services aimed at day-to-day business users. The company, according to several reports, is close to announcing WorkMail, an office email and calendar service that will compete with the work versions of Google’s Gmail and Calendar and Microsoft’s Exchange. WorkMail comes on the heels of two other AWS services that cater to office workers, WorkSpaces, a virtual desktop, and Zocalo, a file-sharing and collaboration tool.
