Angie’s List Rebuffs IAC Proposal, Sees Shares Jump

The media company offered $8.75 per share.

Shares of Angie’s List popped Wednesday after IAC/InterActiveCorp announced a bid to acquire it for $8.75 per share.

The stock was up more than 11 percent in extended trade.

However media company IAC said the board of Angie’s List was not interested in the proposal. Angie’s List declined to comment on the matter.
