Starting today, the Microsoft Band will be available at Best Buy, Target and Amazon in the U.S. Since its release in October (reviewed by Re/code in a two–part series), the $200 Band was only available online or in person at Microsoft Stores. The Band will also be available in the U.K. starting April 15 (170 pounds), with online preorders starting today. The Band connects to smartphones via Bluetooth and can display text messages, phone calls and app notifications. Unlike Apple’s Apple Watch or Google’s Android Wear watches, the Band works with iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
