Twitter has acquired TenXer, a software startup that helps companies manage their engineering projects. Twitter plans to use the tech internally versus offering it up to developers as it has done in the past with acquisitions like Crashlytics. The TenXer product will be shut down, which means Twitter is likely going to fold the tech into its existing workflow. TenXer CEO Jeff Ma tweeted the news Thursday morning, which was first reported by VentureBeat; a Twitter spokesperson declined to comment on deal terms.
