Re/code on TV: AOL Acquisition, Apple Watch and Hacking All the Devices

A handful of Re/code staffers appeared on the tube this week.

Verizon’s acquisition of AOL headlined a busy week in the tech world, and a handful of Re/coders were on television and radio this week to talk about the news.

Managing Editor Ed Lee joined CNBC’s “Squawk Alley” on Tuesday to discuss Verizon’s $4.4 billion AOL acquisition.

Co-Executive Editor Kara Swisher also weighed in on the acquisition with CNBC’s “Fast Money.”

Re/code‘s Co-Executive Editor Walt Mossberg also joined CNBC this week to talk about the Apple Watch, which he spent the past month wearing for this helpful review.

Senior Editor Ina Fried made an appearance on NPR’s “Here & Now” to talk about Here, Nokia’s mapping technology that’s currently up for sale. It’s attracting a lot of potential suitors, including Uber.

Senior Editor Arik Hesseldahl went on CNBC’s “Power Lunch” to discuss connected devices and what people can do to ensure they aren’t hacked.
