Tim Cook Will Join Stephen Colbert on ‘The Late Show’

Tim Cook has some new gadgets to sell, so he’s headed to New York to meet Stephen Colbert.

Apple’s CEO will appear on Colbert’s new CBS talk show next Tuesday. Colbert announced the booking on Twitter, posing with his Apple Watch prominently displayed on his left wrist. CBS confirmed the appearance.

Cook is the latest high-profile technology executive to drop by Colbert’s “Late Show,” which debuted Tuesday. Tesla founder Elon Musk and Uber CEO Travis Kalanick were among the first week’s guests.

Expect Cook to take the opportunity to tout Apple’s new product lineup, including the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, Apple TV and the iPad Pro.
