Universal Releases New ‘Steve Jobs’ Movie Trailer

The forthcoming film focuses on three key moments in the Apple co-founder’s professional life.

Universal

Universal Pictures has released a new trailer for the forthcoming “Steve Jobs” biopic, which is scheduled for release next month.

This two-minute trailer depicts more of the sweep of the Apple co-founder’s life, focusing on three seminal moments: The introduction of the Macintosh computer, his firing as head of the company and his return as Apple’s “interim” CEO who would ultimately lead the company through its remarkable turnaround.

The film is adapted from Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography. It’s directed by Academy Award winner Danny Boyle, written by Oscar-winner Aaron Sorkin (best known as the screenwriter of another Silicon Valley-focused film, “The Social Network”) and stars Michael Fassbender as the iconic tech figure. Comedian Seth Rogen portrays Apple’s other co-founder, Steve Wozniak.
