For years, Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner have been all about old media — they are the creative duo behind HBO’s “Girls,” and Dunham recently penned a memoir (“Not That Kind of Girl”). But, as of this week, they are becoming digital media entrepreneurs, launching their new project: LennyLetter, an online feminist culture and politics newsletter, which will begin arriving in inboxes tomorrow.

Funny or Die
Later tonight, at 9 pm PT, we’ll publish a special episode of the “Re/code Decode” podcast, featuring an extended interview between Re/code Executive Editor Kara Swisher and the pair about this new effort and a whole lot more.
In advance, they’ve already done some snazzy online video promotion work on Funny or Die, featuring comedy star Amy Schumer and Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton. Dunham gets the former secretary of state to talk about Lenny Kravitz’s pants splitting on stage (awkward!) and with Schumer … well, you’ll see.
