Salesforce force Benioff and Pinterest’s top creative guy will headline Code Enterprise

It’s the end of your work as you know it — will you feel fine?

Little has been untouched by the innovation that has come out of Silicon Valley in the last decade, especially how we work. From labor models to how we move and how we communicate — everything is changing drastically.

That’s why we’ve put together a lineup of speakers who are leading the companies that are charting that change to join us for an intimate gathering at our new and improved Code Enterprise conference in San Francisco on Nov. 14 and 15.

Code Enterprise Series returns to San Francisco November 14-15, 2016

All about work, work, work and also work.

We’re excited to announce that Marc Benioff, the founder and CEO of Salesforce, will be joining us on the main stage for a timely conversation.

You’ve definitely heard of Benioff and not just because he is an epic Silicon Valley character.

Just last week, Salesforce backed away from bidding on Twitter despite Benioff’s “love” for the company, because investors were less than enthralled about the prospect of taking on the social media platform that has consistently missed revenue expectations. We’ll be asking Benioff what opportunities he saw in Twitter and what other objections the company’s shareholders had for buying Twitter.

Salesforce — which is one of the biggest employers in San Francisco — is also pushing forward some of its diversity efforts and recently hired its first-ever chief equality officer, former Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard executive Tony Prophet. Prophet joins the company at a time where many industry players have turned their attention to diversifying their workforce. But why only hire someone to that position now and what is the company’s plan for achieving “equality” internally? We’ll be asking Benioff about all this and more.

We’ll also be hosting an on-location event at Pinterest on Nov. 14 with chief creative officer and co-founder Evan Sharp. With its move into commerce, Pinterest has been working to become more than just the landing page for wish lists of purses and strange wedding ideas. The company just hit 150 million monthly active users, has forged thousands of partnerships with retailers and just launched a platform that connects brands with Pinterest “Pinfluencers” willing to hawk their product. Sharp will talk us through the company’s progression and how pin boards will stack up against other e-commerce players.

Benioff and Sharp join an already great line-up of speakers. We’ll have Taskrabbit CEO Stacy Brown Philpott; California’s Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom, Zenefits CEO David Sacks, Lyft’s David Baga, Slack’s April Underwood, LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner and more.

Join us on Nov. 14 and 15 in San Francisco. Tickets to our events sell fast, you can get yours here.
