Breaking up with people is hard to do, to paraphrase the old song, but breaking up with wearable technology? That’s a lot easier.

On the latest episode of Too Embarrassed to Ask, Kara Swisher and Lauren Goode diagnose just why it is they keep on buying smartwatches and activity trackers, even though the relationship never lasts. They share stories about wearables that our listeners have also given up on, and then try to figure out what Apple, Samsung, Fitbit, Jawbone and so on need to do to keep consumers from shelving their tech.
