The RealReal CEO Julie Wainwright has run a ton of companies — including Pets.com — and despite predictions of a slowdown in startups, in some ways it’s now easier to raise money.

In today’s entrepreneurial world, the “wheat and chaff are separating,” she told Recode’s Jason Del Rey at the first Code Commerce Series event in Las Vegas. “If you start a company now, seed is pretty easy, Series A not so much.”
