Elon Musk will be up all night finishing his newest ‘master plan’

It’s definitely, maybe, probably coming.

Elon Musk has spent the better part of the last few weeks teasing the public with promises of publishing the second part of his “master plan.” But Elon Musk is a busy man! Elon Musk has two (maybe almost three, if you count Solar City) companies to run. He has rockets to launch and semi-autonomous technology to develop!

But it’s coming:

Really:

He swears:

Seriously! (The distraction being he had to launch some rockets.)

No, really this time:

If you remember, back in 2006, Musk published his super secret plan that only you, me and hundreds of thousands of other people knew about.

The TL:DR version:

In short, the master plan is:

Build sports car

Use that money to build an affordable car

Use that money to build an even more affordable car

While doing above, also provide zero emission electric power generation options

Don’t tell anyone.

This master plan will supposedly chart the next chapter of Musk’s companies.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has also teased a sequel to the unveiling of the affordable car he mentions in his first plan, the Model 3. Though a series of accidents involving the company’s semi-autonomous technology Autopilot prompted investigations from a number of federal agencies, it’s likely that the new plan, or at least the sequel to the Model 3 reveal, will include mentions of how Tesla plans to develop their autonomous technology.

It’ll be here. It’s definitely, maybe, probably coming.
