Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA), Hillary Clinton’s new running mate, likes to call himself “boring.” But during his keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday, plenty of people saw something else: an awkward dad.

Kaine had a good Spanish accent, a decent Donald Trump impression— and lots and lots of dad jokes. (“We should all feel the Bern, but we shouldn’t get burned by the other guy!”)
