One debate down. On to the next: The second presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will be held on Sunday, Oct. 9, at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.

Prior to that, vice presidential candidates Mike Pence and Tim Kaine will have their only debate on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Longwood University in Farmville, Va.

Like the first debate, the next two will be carried widely on TV and digital outlets; we’ll have updated information about how to watch and stream the debates in the future.

In the meantime, it will be interesting to see how many people tuned in to Monday night’s debate.

Recode’s readers, via an informal Twitter poll, predicted that the event would draw viewership that would rival the Super Bowl.

But if the rest of the debates follow historical norms, future debates will likely draw lower numbers. Then again, nothing about this election season has followed historical norms.
