So it’s a good thing Code goes for three days, because we have many more excellent speakers to add to our agenda. Like who? Glad you asked:
Steve Ballmer spent two decades building Microsoft, and then put in another 14 years as the tech giant’s CEO. Now he’s building a second career as an NBA owner — he bought the LA Clippers in 2014 — and has ambitious ideas about bringing tech into pro sports.
Reid Hoffman co-founded LinkedIn in 2003, and last year he sold the company to Microsoft for more than $26 billion; he now has a seat on the Microsoft board. Along the way, he became one of Silicon Valley’s most influential investors and connectors as a partner at Greylock Partners.
Shari Redstone spent years away from Viacom and CBS, but now she’s running the show at the family business, stepping in for her father Sumner Redstone. When she’s not overseeing one of the biggest empires in the media industry, she’s investing in tech via her Advancit Capital fund.
