Rose McGowan is coming to Code Media

A must-see interview.

Peter Kafka covered media and technology, and their intersection, at Vox. Many of his stories can be found in his Kafka on Media newsletter, and he also hosts the Recode Media podcast.

Hollywood — and the rest of the world — is having an important conversation about the way women are treated in the workplace and beyond. Meet one of the women leading the discussion:

Rose McGowan was one of the first women to publicly accuse Harvey Weinstein of sexually assaulting her, and since then she has been one of the most outspoken figures in the #MeToo movement.

Her new book, “Brave,” tells her story in her own words, and the upcoming documentary “Citizen Rose” will bring it to TV.

Kara Swisher and I are delighted to have her join us at Code Media.

McGowan joins an impressive roster of speakers coming to the Paséa Hotel & Spa this February. We’ve got the leaders of the most interesting and important companies at the intersection of technology and media coming to talk with us next month. You should be there, too.
