Oscars 2019: winners, nominations, and biggest moments

The 2019 Academy Awards took place on&nbsp;Sunday, February 24. The awards had no host after Kevin Hart stepped down amid controversy over homophobic jokes he&rsquo;d made in the past, leading to the first host-free Oscars ceremony since 1989.
The show had also been dogged by controversial attempts to shorten its runtime.
But the proceedings went smoother than many people expected. The show opened with a performance by the surviving members of Queen (joined by Adam Lambert), and a bevy of stars and celebrities made appearances to present the awards.
Green Book won Best Picture in addition to two other awards: Supporting Actor for Mahershala Ali, and Original Screenplay. And it did so despite being the subject of a number of&nbsp;controversies,&nbsp;particularly because of its depiction of the history of race in America.
Bohemian Rhapsody&nbsp;earned the most Oscars overall, with four, including Lead Actor for Rami Malek, who played Queen frontman Freddie Mercury. The movie has come under fire for its&nbsp;treatment of Mercury&rsquo;s sexuality.
Green Book&rsquo;s three Oscars were matched by&nbsp;Roma&nbsp;and&nbsp;Black Panther.&nbsp;Roma&rsquo;s Alfonso Cuar&oacute;n won Best Director and Cinematography, making him the first director in Oscars history to take home both of those prizes. The film also won Best Foreign Language Feature.
Meanwhile,&nbsp;Black Panther&nbsp;&mdash; the third-highest-earning movie of all time in the US and&nbsp;the first superhero movie in history to be nominated for Best Picture&nbsp;&mdash; won for Original Score, Production Design, and Costume Design.
