After launching the iPhone 7 just last month, Apple is saying “Hello again” on Thursday, October 27. The company is set to announce new products — most likely new Mac computers — at its second live media event of the year.

What to expect
According to Ars Technica, new Mac hardware has not been mentioned onstage at an Apple event since March 2015 (although there have been small updates, unveiled in press releases and online announcements).
Details have already leaked about one of the biggest changes to the MacBook Pro: a narrow touchscreen instead of the top row of function keys on the keyboard. Pictures also showed a Touch ID fingerprint sensor for Apple Pay authentication.
According to The Verge, the laptop will also feature additional design tweaks:
The new laptops are supposedly thinner and lighter, and in the leaked photos you can see a smaller bezel around the screen as well as smaller speaker strips. Apple also appears to have borrowed the shallow keyboard from the MacBook, and it’s thought that the company will ditch the MagSafe power cable in favor of USB Type-C, too.
Techies and Apple obsessives have long awaited updates to the MacBook lineup — a series of products that, unlike Apple’s iPhone and iWatch innovations, have only seen one substantial update since October of last year, with the release of the Retina MacBook.
