With less than 12 hours to go before President Donald Trump sits down for his one-on-one meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore, officials from both countries are scrambling to put together the final details for the historic nuclear summit.

Both leaders have already arrived in Singapore. Kim is staying at the St. Regis Hotel, while Trump is staying at the Shangri-la Hotel. Both hotels are in central Singapore.
The meeting itself will take place at a third location: the Capella Hotel, on Singapore’s lush and secluded resort island of Sentosa. The island is a popular tourist destination with stunning beaches, two golf courses, and several theme parks.
But starting tomorrow, the two leaders probably won’t have much time to enjoy a round of golf or a lazy float in an inner tube at Adventure Cove Waterpark. Their schedule is jam-packed with a one-on-one meeting, a second “expanded bilateral meeting” that will include top advisers, and a working lunch.
The summit starts Tuesday, June 12, at 9 am Singapore time. Singapore’s time zone is exactly 12 hours ahead of Washington, DC — which means it starts here on the East Coast at 9 pm on June 11. Most Americans will likely be asleep during the bulk of the summit, but given what a huge event this is, at least some people will probably stay up to watch the spectacle.

The White House has not set up a live stream of the meeting (at least, not yet). However, as many as 3,000 reporters are currently in Singapore to cover the event, so you can be sure that every cable news channel will have wall-to-wall coverage. If you don’t have cable, Vox will be live-streaming the event on Twitter. Several other news outlets are also live-streaming coverage on YouTube, including Fox 10 Phoenix and Channel NewsAsia.
